Wedding Photographer Gloucestershire - How It All Began

So it all started many years ago when I was asked to take some photos at a wedding, it turned out the Bride preferred mine to the ones they paid for! This then transpired into Football photography covering Premier League amongst others.

The day my daughter said “Daddy don’t go” every Saturday and Tuesday evening was when I branched into weddings and I haven’t looked back. I absolutely love capturing those special moments and the day as a whole, to provide you with images that will bring joy for a lifetime.

Countless weddings later I am developing my skills in a non obtrusive way. I agree a few posed pictures are required but on the whole I prefer to be there but not be there, just in the background capturing those special little moments.

MEET ALAN

Hello! I’m Alan, and I want to start by thanking you for visiting my website. Above all, I’m a father, stepfather, and husband, and then I’m a wedding photographer.

My passion for wedding photography in Gloucestershire is driven by my daughter. I want her to be proud of me and to think of me as an amazing photographer. When I edit photos, she often comes over to ask, “Daddy, can I help?” I love picking an image that didn’t make the cut and letting her have fun with it in Photoshop.

You might wonder what I’m like as a wedding photographer Gloucestershire. I’m easygoing and relaxed, never pushy. I won’t tell you to look here, smile, or pose in a specific way.

You already have enough to think about while planning your day, and I aim to make your experience seamless and enjoyable.

My goal is to capture your day in a fun way, allowing my photos to tell the story without any added stress.

I also excel at connecting with guests. I’ve often been told that a child won’t smile or doesn’t like having their picture taken. But I see that as a challenge, and it usually ends with plenty of joyful images of them smiling and posing!
